Meet The Team

Ben Saggers – Director

Ben has been in the industry from a young age staring on the tools, moving to Quantity
Surveyor for the majority of his 20+ year tenure before starting Strand Development.

Ben’s role is overseeing all aspects of the business with a keen eye on providing a quality
build for all of Strand’s clients.

The driving factor behind Ben’s motivation is brand creation and the ability to offer all clients no matter the size a cost-effective and quality build.

Finance-minded managing the estimating and client liaison elements to Strand. Ben spends
the majority of his time value engineering or applying industry experience into clients plans
to maximise the design led advantage to using Strand.

Outside of work Ben having a young family and being recently married enjoys spending time
in the countryside with the family and Labradors whenever possible! Ben also pays a keen interest in local rugby specifically Wymondham Rugby Club where Strand are Associate sponsors.

Jack Wright

Jack Wright – Senior Engineer

 

Jack has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years and has been an Engineer for the last 13 working in a wide range of sectors from heavy civils to residential building.

Jack’s experience helps when heading up the Engineering department here at Strand where his roles include, technical design, setting out, surveying, design coordination and delivery to the site teams.

Jack is an integral part of the business operations working closely with the director
when planning schemes and the business operations over the various divisions.

Whether it be providing the technical know-how for 278 highways works, modelling earthworks or providing alternative design strategy Jack is always on hand.

Outside of work Jack enjoys spending time with his young family and in his spare time is a keen kayaker and fisherman.

Stephane Dunbar – Senior Quantity Surveyor

 

Stephane is the senior quantity surveyor here at Strand Developments where he is responsible for all commercial aspects of our projects. Stephane has been a surveyor for over 20 years where he cut his teeth in the civils/commercial industry before moving into housebuilding.

His role is varied and includes procurement, management of all financial matters, forecasting,
managing the design team & regulatory authorities, and estimating. Stephane is the link between the financial aspects of project and the site management team.

When not at work Stephane enjoys renovating properties and is a fair-weather golfer.

Stephen Fulcher – Project Manager

 

Stephen joined Strand as a project manager bringing with him over 40 years of industry knowledge.

Previously Stephen had spent the majority of his career working for a national housebuilder so fitted in immediately here at Strand providing our private and industry clients with a stable platform on which to trust the projects will be delivered effectively.

In Stephan’s leisure time, he enjoys going out for meals with his family and is a keen golfer.

Adam Hooks – Site Manager

 

Adam joined Strand after an extensive career starting in groundworks and ending up in site
management with the majority in the housebuilding sector.

Adam brings an energy to the team always striving to make jobs a success and constantly going the extra mile for our clients.

Having worked on the sub-contractor and national housebuilder sides of the industry Adam is well-equipped to manage our bespoke and high-quality building sites.

Outside of work Adam enjoys shooting and spending time with his young family.

Greta Saggers – Office Manager 

 

Greta ensures the smooth running of the business behind the scenes quite literally being the glue that binds the team together.

With over 10 years industry experience, Greta brings a wealth of knowledge especially when it comes to managing the team internally and engaging with clients. Along with the positive energy and organisational skills Greta brings, her personality enables her to gel with staff and suppliers plus she thrives of making new connection with our clients.

Greta enjoys the diversity between office and site life attending whenever she can soaking up more industry knowledge along the way always giving 100% in every aspect.

Outside of work Greta enjoys family time with husband Ben and their young children, country walks, and is an especially impressive host renowned among friends and colleagues for her impressive events!

Lee Cursons – Site Manager

 

Lee has worked in the construction industry for almost 25 years. Starting as a labourer which led onto becoming a forklift operator, finishing foreman, assistant and eventually a site manager. Lee’s background is within the private housing side of the industry which has given him the opportunity to work on many different developments over the years. Lee enjoys working as part of a site team to deliver a product with a high standard of finish and is keen to rise to a challenge.
Lee is the fourth generation of his family that have worked in the construction industry. The desire to want to build has always been a big part of his family. This started at a very young age when Lee was growing up watching his father build the family home. With this in mind Lee is always looking to the next construction project on his own home.
Lee is married with two young children. His main focus out of work is spending time with his family through a range of activities which as much as possible involves being outside. Lee is a keen surfer and is always happy to go the beach regardless of the weather conditions. He has surfed many places around the world and is looking forward to being able to teach his kids as they get older.
